Scar of the Sea Gamay Topotero Vineyard San Luis Obispo Coast, 2022 Retsina and aromaticThis wine is made from 100% Gamay. The Topotero Vineyard is next to the famed Bassi Vineyard, which are known for having some of the closest vines to the coast in California. The soils are largely marine sediment and produce wines that are minerally and fresh. This wine follows suit and in addition to being fresh and vibrant, has that soft Gamay chalky texture that we have come to love. We would pair it with salmon skewers with a side of pomegranate
